GM names Kyle Vogt the CEO of AV unit Cruise

General Motors Co. said Monday that Kyle Vogt has formally accepted the role of chief executive of Cruise, GM’s autonomous-driving unit. Vogt, who co-founded Cruise in 2013, has served as interim CEO since December. Vogt also will serve as chief technology officer and president of Cruise, which GM bought in 2016 for $1 billion.
