Russia’s Lavrov reportedly says third world war would be ‘nuclear and destructive’

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday said a third world war would be “nuclear and destructive,” according to comments reported by the RIA news agency and translated by Reuters. NATO members have so far ruled out enforcing a no-fly zone over Ukraine that would by definition invite conflict with Russian aircraft, as a Russian convoy makes its way toward Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital.
