Read Time:29 Second

Stocks opened higher Thursday, with the S&P 500 attempting to stretch its winning streak to four days as investors weighed fears of an economic slowdown versus expectations for the Federal Reserve to deliver aggressive rate hikes in an effort to rein in inflation. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 201 points, or 0.6%, while the S&P 500 rose 0.7% and the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.8%.
