Twitter Inc.’s social media site was down early Thursday with a message propping up to suggest an ‘internal error’ was to blame. The company could not immediately be reached for comment. The outage appears to have started shortly before 8:00 a.m., according to downdetector.com. Shares were slightly higher premarket, but are down 15% in the year to date amid a battle between Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk and company management following a takeover offer from Musk, while the S&P 500 has fallen 20%.
