: Hertz CFO Kenny Cheung to leave company, to pursue another professional opportunity

Hertz Global Holdings Inc. HTZ said Monday that Chief Financial Officer Kenny Cheung was leaving the company, after about 2 1/2-years in the role. The car rental company appointed Chief Accounting Officer Alexandra Brooks as interim CFO, effective April 1, and has initiated a formal search for a permanent CFO. Cheung, who was appointed CFO in September 2020, is leaving to pursue “another professional opportunity in a different industry.” Hertz’s stock, which rose 1.4% in premarket trading, has gained 3.0% over the past three months through Friday, while the S&P 500 SPX has tacked on 3.7%.
