: Delta names former Six Flags executive its new COO

Delta Air Lines Inc. DAL said late Tuesday that Michael Spanos, 58, has been named the company’s chief operating officer, effective June 12. Spanos served as chief executive officer of Six Flags Entertainment Corp. SIX from November 2019 to November 2021, Delta said, and prior to joining the amusement park company spent more than 25 years as an executive at PepsiCo Inc. Shares of Delta were flat in the extended session after ending the regular trading day up 1.3%.
