: Biden says he plans to meet China’s Xi even after calling him a ‘dictator’

President Joe Biden on Thursday said he expects to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the near future, even as he stood by calling Xi a dictator. Biden was speaking at a news conference with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after he made the comment about Xi on Tuesday night. The Chinese government has summoned U.S. ambassador to Beijing Nicholas Burns for an official reprimand following Biden’s comments, the Wall Street Journal reported.
