: Cathie Wood’s ARK buys up $2 million in AMD stock, dumps $2 million more in Tesla stock

Cathie Wood’s ARK Investment scooped up 18,583 shares of Advanced Micro Devices Inc. AMD shares Monday, a chunk of stock valued at about $2 million based on the day’s closing price of $107.51. The shares were added to ARK’s Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF ARKQ, and AMD now represents 0.1966% of that fund. ARK also bought 18,106 shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. TSM, with 4,117 added to the Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF and the rest added to the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF ARKW. That amounts to just under $2 million based on the stock’s $100.11 closing level. Further, ARK continued to unload shares of Tesla Inc. TSLA, dumping 5,196 shares from the Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF and 3,058 shares from the Next Generation Internet ETF. That would amount to about $2 million worth of stock based on Monday’s $241.05 closing price. ARK ETFs have sold more than 500,000 Tesla shares so far in June.
