: JPMorgan Chase stock rallies toward its longest win streak in 9 years

Shares of JPMorgan Chase & Co. JPM gained 0.8% in afternoon trading Wednesday, to put it on track for a ninth-straight gain. That would be the longest win streak for the banking giant’s stock since the 10-day streak that ended Feb. 18, 2014. The stock has gained 8.0% during its current win streak. The stock’s surge has been fueled stronger-than-expected earnings and strength in the broader stock market, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA was headed for an eighth-straight gain, which would be its longest win streak since the eight-day stretch that ended Sept. 13, 2019. During the Dow’s win streak, JPMorgan Chase’s stock is the only one with longer current win streak. The stock with the next-longest win streak is UnitedHealth Group Inc.’s UNH at just four sessions.
