: Maryland reports $3.56 mln in legal adult-use cannabis sales on July 1

The Maryland Cannabis Administration has reported total retail sales of $10.4 million for the Friday-Sunday weekend ahead of the July 4 holiday, in the state’s first days of adult-use cannabis sales. With the addition of adult-use cannabis starting on July 1, total cannabis sales rose by about $6.4 million to $10.4 million, up from just under $4 million for the 2022 weekend ahead of the July 4 holiday. On Saturday, July 1, total medical cannabis sales were $959,430, while total adult-use sales were $3.56 million.
