: Plan B morning-after pill maker reportedly seeking $4 billion sale

Private-equity backers are looking to sell Foundation Consumer Healthcare, the company which makes the Plan B emergency contraception pill, for about $4 billion, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing people close to the matter. Back in December, the Food and Drug Administration corrected the label of the so-called “morning after pill” to reflect that it did not abort an already existing pregnancy in response to state restrictions on abortions that resulted from the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade last year. Foundation Consumer is backed by Juggernaut Capital Partners.
