: Instacart files for IPO

Maplebear Inc. — the company better known as Instacart — filed papers Friday for a proposed initial public offering. The online grocery-delivery platform plans to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker “CART.” The number of shares and their price have yet to be determined. Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan will act as lead book-running managers for the proposed offering.
