Metals Stocks: Gold falls for 3rd session, settling at lowest in 2 weeks as investors await U.S. inflation report

Gold futures declined for a third day on Wednesday to end at the lowest level in nearly two weeks as investors awaited the release of the latest U.S. consumer-price inflation report following data from China showing deflation has reemerged in the world’s second-largest economy.
