: Argentina ETF surges after Javier Milei’s decisive victory

The Global X MSCI Argentina ETF ARGT soared 13% in early trade in New York, after Javier Milei scored a decisive victory in Argentina’s presidential election. Milei has proposed dollarizing the economy and closing the central bank to fight surging inflation and its bloated bureaucracy. “It is indisputable that a swift change from the failed economic policies of the past is imperative,” said economists at Goldman Sachs.
