: Goldman Sachs leads gainers among the 30 stocks in the Dow Jones Industrial Average; Bank of America up handily

Goldman Sachs Group Inc.’s stock GS is the biggest gainer among the 30 stocks in the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA at midday Friday with a rise of 4%. The stock has risen 12.6% so far this week. It’s also on pace for largest percent increase since November 10, 2022, when it rose 4.51%, according Dow Jones Market Data. Meanwhile, Bank of America Corp.’s stock BAC was up about 3% and is on track for a 13% gain this week, which would be its best since it rose by 16.5% in the week ending June 5, 2020.
