Tyson Foods to move employees from Illinois and South Dakota corporate offices to Arkansas

Tyson Foods Inc. said Wednesday that it will relocate all employees at its corporate offices in downtown Chicago and suburban Downers Grove, Ill., and Dakota Dunes, S.D., to its world headquarters in Springdale, Ark. The meat and processed-foods company said the first phase of the relocation will start in early 2023. “Bringing our talented corporate team members and businesses together under one roof unlocks greater opportunities to share perspectives and ideas, while also enabling us to act quickly to solve problems and provide the innovative products solutions that our customers deserve and value,” Chief Executive Donnie King said. Tyson’s stock dropped 1.7% in morning trading. It has tumbled 22.7% over the past three months, while the S&P 500 has slipped 2.6%.
