Vice-President Kamala Harris hosted an intimate Diwali dinner at her residence with 90 guests in attendance

The official residence of the vice president was decorated with candles & orange marigolds.  The guests included who’s who of the Indian American community in the US capital.

Invited were the most Influential South Asians living in the United States such as Prabal Gurang, Deepica Mutyala, Charithra Chandran, Ami Desai, Rohini Kosogulu, Opal Vardhan, Sarbina Singh, Anip Patel, Avni Modi, Bishu Mahapatra, Radhika Jones, Versha Sharma, Payal Kadakia, Radhika Shetty, Shilpa Shah, Michelle Ranavat, Shilpa Shah, Bela Bajaj, Versha Sharma, Shruthi Ganguly, Zohreen Shah, Deepti Sharma, Neera Tanden, Vivek Murthy, Rich Verma, Ajay Bhutoria, Vanita Gupta, Raakhi Kapur,  and many more. 

Kamala Harris, the Vice-President of the United States, and her husband and Second Gentleman, Doug Emhoff, celebrated Diwali at their residence in Washington yesterday.  Masala Mojitos, Wine, Juice & light appetizers were served.  All guests got a Candle as a party favor.   

Mondays Diwali dinner hosted by Biden will be on a much larger scale with close to 300 people in attendance including Jay Shetty & Jay Sean.
