: Paul Pelosi ‘violently assaulted’ after break-in at home, full recovery expected, Nancy Pelosi’s office says
Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was “violently assaulted” early Friday following a break-in at the couple’s residence in San Francisco, the speaker’s office said. “Mr. Pelosi was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving excellent medical care and is expected to make a full recovery,” said Speaker Pelosi’s spokesman Drew Hammill. Hammill said the assailant is in custody and that the speaker was not in San Francisco at the time of the attack.
