: DeSantis would consider national ban of TikTok if elected: report

Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis said he would consider a national ban of TikTok if elected, calling the popular video-sharing app a growing threat to the U.S. “I am inclined to not want TikTok in the United States,” the Florida governor told The Wall Street Journal in an interview following the release of his economic plan that identifies confronting Beijing as a priority. “I think it’s creating a security vulnerability for us. I think they are mining a lot of data.”
