: Some Buy Buy Baby and Harmon stores will reopen after Bed Bath bankruptcy: report

The retailer that bought Buy Buy Baby’s intellectual property in the wake of former parent Bed Bath & Beyond’s bankruptcy earlier this year plans to reopen some of the brand’s stores, CNBC reported Thursday. Dream on Me, which purchased Buy Buy Baby’s IP at a June auction, intends to open the doors once again at 11 northeastern locations as early as this fall, the report noted. Over a medium-term span, Dream on Me wants to reopen 100 to 120 Buy Buy Baby stores, its marketing chief told CNBC. Further, a private investor plans to reopen at least five Harmon locations after those stores were shuttered as well due to the bankruptcy.
