Commodities Corner: U.S. is set to play tug of war with OPEC+ for oil market share as Middle East hostilities warrant output boost

The U.S. has expanded its oil production to its highest on record, with mergers among big energy companies expected to contribute to a further climb, as other major crude producers such as Saudi Arabia and Russia look to keep output cuts in place to the end of the year.
