Economic Report: U.S. productivity surged in the third quarter

The productivity of American workers rose by a revised 5.2% annual rate in the third quarter, the government said Wednesday. It is the fastest pace since the third quarter of 2020. Prior to the pandemic, it is the fastest since the fourth quarter of 2009.
