Uber fined $324 million by Dutch regulator over transfer of driver data to U.S.

The Dutch privacy regulator on Monday said it fined Uber Technologies 290 million euros ($324 million) for allegedly sending data on drivers to the U.S. without providing appropriate safeguards.
